It’s family night! Shoes off, game on! Like most of us, you want your home to be comfortable and reflect your family’s lifestyle. And your ability to create great experiences and memories in your home should never be limited by the size of your family or the arrangement of your furniture. Click on the image below to see what making a few changes to the layout of your furniture can do to make your room a fully functional family space. Check out these tips for organizing your room:
- Use storage ottomans. They provide extra seating that can be moved around the room, and they are great for hiding toys and games.
- Since the kitchen is a popular gathering place for families, why not add a kitchen island? It will increase storage space for flatware and even wine. Also, you can add barstools to create another place for dining or doing homework.
- Choose a sectional for your living room. A sectional has modular pieces that can be rearranged to accommodate the activities in the room. Sectionals often include additional storage consoles, built-in cup holders and even a recliner.
